Blame Burberry S/S 2014, but we have now become obsessed with pale blue. We also find the mock turtleneck very intriguing as it a very unexpected neckline for an evening gown.

 Michelle's pared back elegance is a welcome reprieve from the vulgarity modern celebrity; 

She looks as though she ought to be kept safe in a glass cabinet, away from the sullying influence of the rest of the world. 

 

Lupita Nyong'o 

Lupita is never afraid of going for bright hues on the red carpet and we love her for it. This time she glows in a scarlet gown with attached cape that would make even Superman jealous. Her hair and makeup also make us envious! 

 

Lena Dunham

Lena has had some misses on the red carpet, but we love her so much that we honestly don't care. However, this time we were blown away by her cheerful dress that could even convert Siobhan to liking yellow. (Siobhan is still working on purple though. Baby steps.) 

Zooey Deschanel 

There were many high-low hems on the red carpet, but Zooey's was one of our favorites. It does make sense really -- if you're gonna be wearing killer heels, you might as well show them off. Although the components of her lookare all variations of one color, the multiple textures keep her dress interesting and make us kind of want to pet her?
