Bruised Bananas

Last week we ambled off, porcelain doll friend in tow, to the HIGH launch party. Recently introduced to the brand, we have developed all consuming obsessions with their perfect rucksacks and bewitching boho dresses
At the freshly minted HIGH store on Bond Street, we were crowned with floral wreaths and champagne flowed like some sort of medieval dream come true. Fair maidens in attendance were ultimate woman crush Helena Bonham Carter (looking suitably fab and carrying off her floral crown with aplomb) and Daisy Lowe (taller than we expected and even more beautiful in real life). We were even serenaded by perhaps Disney's best kept secret princess, Cara Dillon, and her princely husband.

Feeling suitably medieval, we thought that the time was ripe for battle and e used the occasion to tackle Siobhan's New Year's resolutions - Siobhan took on that most dastardly of foes, purple, while Miriam grappled with fiendish yellow, how we fare? You tell us!
Miriam and our porcelain doll, who you may recognize from our Smooth Criminal post, enjoyed the garden themed party. Aaaand, Siobhan's shameless bathroom selfie -- she had to show off her matching orange lipstick (Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain in Rendezvous).

The floral crown station where fresh flowers were woven into magic!

With all of the flowers, you would be forgiven for thinking that we were in an English county garden
Blurry pic of Helena Bonham Carter a.k.a. HBC (Head B*tch in Charge) herself.

Could definitely see ourselves in these sleek slip-ons this summer.

Claire Campbell, designer of HIGH Everyday Couture, was there in the flesh as well! (Second from the left)
